Why & What We Do
Across industries, robotic implementation and process automation is a gap fueled by perceived risk and high cost. The investment risk stops many enterprises from embracing robots and automation in their operations. While these are becoming standards across larger companies, small and mid-size enterprises lag behind due to the absence of in-house automation expertise, limited availability of capital and lack of a reliable partner to assist in developing their automation strategy.
Mill 20 is assembling a database of robotics providers including related performance metrics for various tasks. We plan to bring a portfolio of tools and processes that can be coupled with physical de-risking centers to evaluate custom business cases for robotic adoption. Our tool kit will help organizations understand their capabilities, identify gaps, the potential return on investment, and develop a successful robotic project execution strategy with the right technology partners and resources.
We use a Front End Loaded Engineering & Project Management (FEL) approach to carefully define and develop the robotic project. It is proven that on any project with capital expenditures and operational targets, the ability to de-risk is greatest on the front end and diminishes significantly once the project moves into implementation. Mill 20 will provide SME’s with data to help them investigate options, validate project investment decisions, and provide them with the confidence to make a commitment to unlock their future.
